Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Gymnastics Instructor/Supervisor located in Galway. The Gymnastics Instructor/Supervisor will be responsible for designing and implementing gymnastics training programs, supervising and coaching students, ensuring a safe and positive environment, and maintaining equipment. Additional duties include communicating with parents and guardians, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Gymnastics Coach to join our growing team. You’ll work with children aged 3.5–15, delivering engaging classes that help them build confidence, skills, and a love for movement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver safe, fun, and effective gymnastics classes for children of varying ages and abilities.
* Teach fundamental gymnastics skills and progressions, ensuring proper technique and safety.
* Provide positive feedback, encouragement, and support to all participants.
* Supervise children at all times, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and other coaches.
* Assist with class setup, equipment checks, and tidying up after sessions.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and occasional events as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Previous experience coaching gymnastics or working with children in a sports setting
* Positive, energetic, and approachable personality.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
* Relevant coaching certifications (advantageous, but not required at entry level).
* First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Hours:
Part-time, flexible hours (evenings and/or weekends). Schedule to be discussed during interview.
