Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cost Manager. This position involves overseeing the entire cost management process, from pre-contract planning to post-contract administration.
* Procurement and Contract Administration
* Understanding of Commercial and Residential projects, including new builds and refurbishments
* Familiarity with various contract forms
* Providing expert advice on cost, value, and risk management to clients and design teams
The ideal candidate will possess excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills, along with postgraduate experience in quantity surveying and knowledge of various sectors, such as Retail, Commercial, Education, and Residential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough cost planning and analysis for projects
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
• Postgraduate degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Proven experience in cost management and contract administration
• Strong understanding of construction laws and regulations
• Excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills

Industry Knowledge:
