With over 60 full-time staff and 140 subcontractors, we are committed to safety, quality, and innovation in everything we do.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Safety Officer to oversee health and safety across our sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation, and supporting our site teams in achieving the highest safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain the company's health and safety policies and procedures across projectsCarry out regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with current health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and standardsDeliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training for staff and subcontractorsInvestigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actionsLiaise with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to promote safe systems of workMaintain and update all health and safety documentation for projectsAct as the main point of contact for external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies on safety mattersRequirementsMinimum 5+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably within civil engineering or constructionRelevant Health & Safety qualificationStrong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and best practiceExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComputer literacy with strong reporting and record-keeping skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and package (commensurate with experience)Company vehicle, phone, and laptop providedOpportunity to work on high-profile projects across Dublin and LeinsterCareer development within a growing company committed to continuous improvementJob Type: Full-timePay: €30,000.00-€55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany carCompany eventsCompany pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
