Ergo is looking for a skilled Senior Network Administrator to join our high-performing team based with a major client based in Dublin city. What will you do?
* Configure, deploy, and support enterprise-level routing & switching solutions (2nd/3rd line)
* Collaborate across teams to align IT initiatives with business goals and compliance standards
* Implement and optimise network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, Web Filtering)
* Manage multi-vendor environments: Cisco (IOS, IOSXE), Juniper (JunOS), Fortinet (FortiOS)
* Ensure high availability and disaster recovery alignment
* Use monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds) to maintain performance and preempt issues
* Document network changes and present Method of Procedure docs to CAB
What do you need?
* 5+ years in enterprise-level network administration
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Deep expertise in LAN/WAN/WLAN troubleshooting and root cause analysis
* Strong grasp of protocols: TLS/SSL, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, 802.1X
* Experience in Data Centre network design and operations
* Proficiency with network monitoring and performance analysis tools
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
* Certifications: Cisco CCNP and/or Juniper JNCIP (or equivalent)
