RPS has great opportunities for Senior Resident Engineers to join our site-based teams for roles in the Midlands, North West, South West, and South East of The Republic of Ireland.
About The Role
We are seeking several Senior Resident Engineers to work on major above and below ground water utility projects, helping to deliver important infrastructure for customers and ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with contract documents (works requirements).
The duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Monitoring and reporting on works being carried out onsite
2. Monitoring contractor compliance with the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
3. Preparing technical reports and presentations for internal and external use
Qualifications And Experience
The desired qualifications and experience for the Senior Resident Engineers include:
1. Level 8 degree in Engineering
2. 10+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in engineering, including site supervision and monitoring of safe working practices, ideally in water sector projects. Experience with pipeline treatment plant is an advantage.
3. Valid driving license
4. Current Safepass, Managing safely in construction, and manual handling certifications

* Experience leading or working in site supervision teams
* Contractor design review experience is beneficial
