About This Role
As a leader on our overnight stocking team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our store's day-to-day activities. Your responsibility will be to supervise and direct a team of employees within various departments, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Main Responsibilities:
* Promote a positive and efficient work environment by effectively communicating with team members and customers.
* Serve as a mentor and coach, guiding your team towards achieving their full potential.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service, drive sales, and maintain store appearance.
* Foster a collaborative atmosphere by encouraging open communication and recognizing individual contributions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Ensure exceptional customer experience through prompt and courteous service.
* Maintain accurate staffing levels, selecting and hiring qualified candidates to meet business needs.
* Promote career growth and development among team members, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted training initiatives.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant retail experience, including at least one year in a leadership position.
Certifications/Awards: Rotational assignments in multiple store areas, such as meat, bakery, produce, and deli, are beneficial. Customer service and product flow expertise is also highly valued.
