Reperio is partnering with a leading consultancy to support a major government initiative. They're looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join the team on a long-term contract.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to full stack development on scalable, secure applications
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setting
* Support the adoption of modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, TDD, and trunk-based development
* Help shape microservice architecture and deployment pipelines
* Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience as a full stack developer
* Strong Java expertise, including frameworks like Spring, Spark, and Javalin
* Microservices architecture and REST APIs
* Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS)
* Frontend experience with React and/or Vue
* Familiarity with integration patterns (API Gateway, BFF, Event Streaming)
* Knowledge of data persistence, database technologies, and service mesh
* Strong communication skills and team collaboration in agile environments
