What you will be doing As Audit Manager, Valaston, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting high-quality audit engagements from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include: • Leading audit engagements, including planning, analysis of controls and processes, preparation and review of audit documentation, letters and reports • Project managing assigned audit engagements throughout the process ensuring client deliverables are met • Actively working alongside international audit colleagues based in Cayman Islands, Singapore and Netherlands to ensure consistent service delivery across offices • Managing client billing and ensuring adherence to budget timelines • Supervising, training and mentoring junior staff, assisting with their professional development and creating career advancement opportunities • Due to our expanding global client base, opportunities for international travel may also be available What will you need • A degree in accountancy or relevant field and professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA • External audit experience of 5 years+ in a mid-tier or large accounting firm • Specialised in the audit of financial institutions like banks, insurers, pension funds, asset managers.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulation (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective communication skills coupled with strong business acumen • A team player with strong project management and time management skills • Accuracy and accountability for completion of work to the highest standards of technical competence is a pre-requisite of this role About us At Valaston, we believe in building strong client relationships to deliver a quality audit experience that sets us apart.
