Title: Parts / Service Advisor
Purpose of the Role: To Work as Part of The Service Team to Ensure the Continuous Mobility of Our Fleet. Strong Emphasis on Parts & Management of Stock Levels, From Time to Time You May Need to Liaise with Drivers & Clients to Determine Problems with Vehicles. Manage Driver Queries Such as Service Bookings, Breakdowns & General Vehicle Care Advice. Broad Vehicle Knowledge Is a Minimum Requirement to Ensure We Provide the Best Level of Attention to Our Drivers & Clients. The Role Balances Customer Satisfaction, Compliance & Workshop Profitability, While Maintaining Effective Communication Between Technicians, Parts Suppliers & Management.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Working As Part of a Team, Process All Tasks Efficiently.
* Providing A High Level of Service to Meet Both Technicians & Customer's Parts Requirements.
* Ordering, Tracking, Receiving & Identifying Stock & Checking in Goods from Suppliers
* Store Items in An Orderly & Accessible Manner in Parts Department & Ensuring Accurate Identification of Parts
* Handling Parts Enquiries in Person, By Telephone & By Email
* Communicate & Translate Customer Requests to Service Providers.
* Daily Update of Internal Systems.
* Ensure Vehicle Downtime Is Kept to An Absolute Minimum.
* Accurately Communicate & Update Drivers Where Required.
* To Undertake Any Reasonable Role Related Duties Which May Be Required from Time to Time by Line Manager.
Skills and Knowledge
· Experience Within a Motor Dealer, Vehicle Manufacturer Environment as Advisor,
· Service Advisor or Parts Advisor or Similar.
· Excellent Numeracy & Literacy Required.
· Experience Working in an Office Environment & Dealing with External & Internal Customers
· Ability To Solve Problems & Deal Professionally with Unplanned Events.
