Key Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, providing Tier 3 support and root cause analysis.

Collaborate with software, security, and network teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning to ensure data protection and resilience.
Maintain detailed technical documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
Support infrastructure security through vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance monitoring.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure performance and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or network administration.
Strong expertise in server administration (Windows, Linux, or Unix) and system virtualization technologies.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation and system management.
Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and system security best practices.
Experience with monitoring and configuration management tools (Ansible, Nagios, Zabbix, or Terraform).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex, high-impact issues under pressure.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
