Duties and Responsibilities of the Role
Assist in the set-up, operation, and breakdown of conference rooms, meeting spaces, and banqueting suites according to function requirements
Provide outstanding food and beverage service during conferences, weddings, banquets, and special events
Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and presentation in all event spaces
Ensure correct use and care of hotel equipment, furniture, and AV facilities
Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and handle any issues with professionalism
Uphold hotel service standards, policies, and health & safety procedures at all times
Support the C&B management team with stock control, linen, and equipment requirements
Work collaboratively with the C&B team and other hotel departments to ensure the smooth operation of events
Requirements for the role:
Previous experience in banqueting, events, or F&B service within a 4-star/luxury environment (desirable but not essential)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
