We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a highly experienced Project Manager Lead to join a dynamic transformation programme within Market Operations. Based in Belfast, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a multi-year strategic initiative focused on redesigning and delivering a future-state operating model across risk, controls, compliance, automation, data, and technology. You'll be part of a global financial institution undergoing significant change, with a strong emphasis on people development, inclusion, and innovation. Key Responsibilities Provide oversight and governance across a portfolio of transformation programmes and projects. Develop and maintain end-to-end programme plans, tracking progress and managing changes. Lead governance processes and ensure robust risk management across the change portfolio. Manage budgeting, prioritisation, and initiation of new projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Collaborate with risk and control functions to ensure compliance and mitigate change-related risks. Essential Criteria Extensive project management experience, ideally within financial services. PMP certification preferred; Six Sigma is a plus. Proven ability to manage complex project plans, deadlines, and deliverables. Strong understanding of project metrics, reporting, and trend analysis. Skilled in managing scope changes and assessing impacts on budget, timelines, and risk. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Although this role is for 9 months there is a high possibility it will extend past that. This role would be required to be in the office at least 3 days per week in Belfast.
