The Opportunity
We're seeking a
Senior Software Engineer
with strong Python and Java experience to join an innovative technology team working on enterprise-level systems used across financial and data-driven industries.

What You'll Be Doing
* Design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems using
Python
and
Java
.
* Contribute to front-end functionality using
JavaScript
(React, Angular or ).
* Work on integrations, APIs, and performance optimisation across distributed systems.
* Participate in architectural discussions and technology decisions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, QA and operations.
* Ensure secure, efficient and compliant development practices in a regulated environment.
What We're Looking For
* 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
* Advanced knowledge of
Python
and
Java
(backend / data processing / APIs).
* Strong experience with
JavaScript frameworks
(React, Angular or similar).
* Familiarity with microservices, cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
* Experience in
financial or enterprise-grade software
a strong advantage.
* Must currently hold a valid Irish work permit or visa
(e.g. Critical Skills, Stamp 1G, Stamp 4) and be resident in Ireland.
