Responsibilities
Generation and modification of Functional specification, Design and Test Specifications for Procedural and Physical Layer.
Configuration and Testing of Recipes, Phases, Equipment Modules, Control Logic and Interlock Scheme based on Design and Test Specifications.
Interact with customer for Reviewing Design Specifications and Test Specifications.
Work as part of a team for Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification (SAT) at client site.
Automation Project Support including, Coding, Design and Testing.
Support of on-site DeltaV System.
Initiating, Implementing and Qualifying site changes.
Out of hours On-call Automation Support.
Member of the On site Shift Support team.
Coordination of tasks to ensure timely delivery.
Process Automation project experience with the DeltaV platform.
Understanding of Process Automation implementation in a Pharma/Biotech environment.
Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP.
Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, SQL software and systems is not required but desirable.
5+ years relevant DeltaV experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
Qualifications
Suitability degree-qualified automation engineer with over 2 years pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
Required Skills
Expert understanding on all Project Lifecycle phases and tasks.
Ability to liaise directly with client on design issues.
Track record demonstrating an ability to lead a complete project.
Ability to work independently.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Thorough understanding of system (installing, rebuilding etc.).
