Role Overview
As a Psychotherapist with Centric Mental Health, you will provide high-quality, client-centred, culturally responsive psychotherapy services to individuals presenting with a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver interventions and contribute to the continuous development of Centric Mental Health's services.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
* Deliver psychotherapy services in line with best practice and within your scope of professional competence.
* Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, including strengths-based and risk assessments.
* Establish clear therapeutic contracts with clients and agree appropriate goals and treatment plans.
* Provide individual and, where appropriate, group psychotherapy interventions.
* Maintain an appropriate clinical caseload and ensure continuity and quality of care.
* Conduct and implement clinical risk management plans, including safeguarding and child protection procedures where relevant.
Multidisciplinary & Team Working
* Work collaboratively within an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and external professionals to support holistic care.
* Attend case conferences, team meetings and service development meetings as required.
* Contribute to a culture that values equality, diversity and respect.
Clinical Governance, Quality & Risk
* Practice ethically and in accordance with professional standards, Centric Mental Health policies, and relevant legislation.
* Promptly escalate clinical governance issues (e.g. risk, safeguarding) to the Clinical Manager or designated lead.
* Engage in audit, quality improvement, service evaluation and research activities as required.
* Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
Implement routine outcome monitoring as standard practice, to triage new clients and to evaluate therapeutic change and service effectiveness
Education, Supervision & Continuing Professional Development
* Participate in internal and external clinical supervision in line with professional body and Centric Mental Health requirements.
* Take responsibility for ongoing CPD and mandatory training.
* Stay informed of developments in national mental health policy, legislation and evidence-based practice.
Administration & Record Keeping
* Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical records in line with GDPR and Centric policies.
* Complete all administrative duties, including case notes, outcoming appointments, reports and follow-up actions, promptly.
* Contribute to audit systems, referral pathways and service planning as required.
* Use digital systems effectively to support service delivery and outcomes monitoring.
* Liaise with the booking team/admin support in a timely manner to manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, non-attendances etc.
Essential Requirements
* Full accredited membership with a recognised Irish psychotherapy body (e.g. IAHIP, IACP, ICP).
* Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification clinical experience.
* Strong understanding of ethical frameworks, clinical governance and evidence-based practice.
* Demonstrated experience in assessment, risk management and therapeutic intervention.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to reflective practice, supervision and ongoing professional development.
Desirable
* Experience working with diverse client groups and presentations.
* Experience delivering brief or structured therapeutic interventions.
* Familiarity with digital service delivery and online therapy platforms.
