Job Overview
We are seeking an IT specialist to deliver end-user support and manage day-to-day system and network tasks in a manufacturing environment.
* Provide onsite and remote technical support to users, troubleshooting software issues and performing installations/upgrades
* Manage incident and service requests (1st and 2nd line), administering users in Active Directory and MS Exchange
* Build and deploy IT hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets) and support mobile devices and RF handheld scanners
* Troubleshoot networking hardware and make VLAN changes
* Support video conferencing, AV tools, and telephony systems, as well as track IT assets and support hardware lifecycle management
* Assist with backups, patching, and basic infrastructure tasks, and learn internal ERP system for support purposes
* Participate in IT projects, occasionally outside regular hours
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Familiarity with IT systems and networks
* Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues
* Experience with user administration and IT asset management
* Knowledge of networking hardware and security protocols
* Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities
