International Software Quality Engineer with Arabic
Job Summary
The European Software Localisation Quality Assurance team is responsible for designing, implementing and executing both automated and manual test plans to assure the quality of our client’s wide variety of software products. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who meet the following qualifications.
Responsibilities
Perform manual localisation testing on software, printable documents, help and hardware items.
Report issues using internal tools, providing pertinent information and suggestions and following the solution process through completion.
Analyse international functionality issues.
Work cross‑functionally with international software QA centres, engineering teams, translators and project managers to ensure delivery of world‑class products to international markets.
Perform any other duties as required.
Additional Duties (depending on experience and skills)
Design, implement and organise manual test plans.
Create, maintain and carry out automated test procedures.
Identify areas of improvement in existing tools and processes, and address issues with innovative solutions.
Requirements
Required skills
Fluent in Arabic and English, with full professional competence and proficiency in linguistics.
Able to represent an Arabic user in all aspects of interacting with a software product.
Knowledge of software localisation and internationalisation.
Thrive under pressure in fast‑paced environments.
Curious and creative in enhancing product quality and user experience.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated, rapid learner and exceptional team player.
Preferred
Hardware and software power user of Apple products.
Localisation Quality Assurance experience.
Strong technical expertise.
Bonus points for
Expert software power user (Pro Apps, multimedia, productivity).
Real‑world software engineering experience.
macOS/iOS software development with Xcode or Swift.
Software test automation experience.
Project management experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Linguistics, or equivalent experience.
