Freight Sales Executive - Ireland
We are seeking an experienced Freight Sales professional to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in import/export sales and a strong network within the Irish logistics market.
Job Description:
As a Freight Sales Executive, you will be responsible for winning new export business across Road, Air, and Ocean freight. This includes managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, leveraging existing client networks with conversion potential, and collaborating with senior leadership on national growth strategy.
The role involves representing the company at trade shows and industry events, delivering tailored logistics solutions to SME, mid-market, and blue-chip clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of freight forwarding sales experience (export focus preferred)
* Strong network within the Irish logistics market
* Commercially savvy with solid negotiation and pricing skills
* Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
* Motivated by targets, commission, and the chance to build something lasting
