The successful candidate will drive MongoDB's global brand narrative and deliver consistent, multi-channel integrated campaigns that engage and inspire.
This role oversees customer reference marketing, events, brand management, design, and a high-impact editorial content factory — all aligned to create seamless customer experiences that fuel engagement, advocacy, and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and execute a comprehensive corporate marketing strategy that propels MongoDB's growth ambitions, with a sharp focus on positioning us as the leading database for AI-powered applications.
* Lead with data-driven rigor, setting and tracking KPIs that measure brand health, campaign effectiveness, and revenue influence
* Elevate and safeguard MongoDB's brand identity by ensuring visual design consistency and impact across all marketing materials, events, and communications, reflecting our innovation and market leadership.
* Partner with Global Communications on brand risk and reputation risk mitigation efforts as needed
* Drive the planning and execution of global, multi-channel marketing initiatives that deliver consistent messaging aligned with awareness, pipeline, and revenue goals
* Build and scale a high-output editorial content engine that powers thought leadership, customer stories, and brand narratives, fueling engagement and market influence
* Strategically develop and amplify customer success stories as a core part of MongoDB's multi-channel brand narrative.
* Use customer references to build credibility, deepen engagement, and fuel advocacy that supports integrated campaigns and executive storytelling at scale
* Own the planning and delivery of strategic executive events, keynotes, and exclusive customer forums designed to strengthen relationships, showcase thought leadership, and align with business priorities
* Inspire, manage, and grow a high-performing global team that scales with our rapid growth and constantly raises the bar on creativity, execution, and impact.
* Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging new channels and storytelling formats
* Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Developer Relations, and Revenue Marketing to ensure messaging and campaigns are tightly integrated end-to-end
