This is a
key specialist role
within a client-centric Fund Accounting team, offering exposure to complex private equity structures and close collaboration with clients, internal stakeholders and project teams. The successful candidate will act as a
trusted point of contact for Private Equity fund accounting delivery
, combining strong technical capability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. This is initially a 6m contract with opportunity for progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and organise the daily workload across a portfolio of Private Equity clients
* Act as a subject matter expert for Private Equity fund accounting activities
* Oversee the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of NAVs and related deliverables
* Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client queries
* Monitor quality, productivity and risk metrics
* Drive continuous improvement across processes and controls
* Support new client onboarding, fund launches, conversions and restructurings
* Identify and mitigate operational risk, minimising errors and financial exposure
* Document procedures and contribute to best-practice operating standards
* Support change initiatives and contribute positively to team culture
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Proven experience in
Private Equity fund accounting
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
* Financial services operations or fund administration experience
* Strong analytical and organisational skills
* Clear communication style and collaborative mindset
