Account Manager (Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences)

Overview
The Company are a growing data and digital transformation consultancy working closely with leading pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations. They specialise in helping clients unlock value from their data, particularly across regulated environments such as GMP manufacturing and cleanrooms.
They are now seeking an Account Manager to join their Cork-based team, responsible for managing and growing relationships with key pharma clients.
This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role suited to someone who enjoys being on-site, building trust, and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop relationships with existing pharmaceutical clients
Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring a high level of service delivery
Travel regularly to client sites (including cleanroom/manufacturing environments where required)
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell ClearSphere’s data, analytics, and digital solutions
Work closely with internal technical teams to align solutions with client needs
Understand client challenges across areas such as:
Data management
Compliance / GMP reporting
Process optimisation
Support commercial discussions including proposals, renewals, and contract negotiations
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within existing accounts
Requirements
Proven experience in an Account Manager / Client Relationship / Business Development role
Strong face-to-face client engagement experience (this is not a desk-based role)
Ability and willingness to travel regularly to client sites
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercial awareness with a track record of growing accounts
Understanding of
GMP / regulated industries
Data or digital transformation projects
