Background
The NTPF is a corporate body with functions and responsibilities as set out under Statutory Instrument 179 - National Treatment Purchase Fund (Establishment) Order, 2004, and the Nursing Homes Support Scheme Act (2009).

Its key functions include:

* Arranging hospital treatment for designated classes of persons.
* Managing information on persons awaiting public hospital treatment.
* Setting pricing arrangements with private and voluntary nursing homes under the Nursing Homes Support Scheme.
* Advising the Minister for Health on relevant issues.
* Other functions as assigned by the Minister, including publication of outpatient waiting lists since July 2012.

The NTPF collaborates closely with the Department of Health, HSE, public hospitals, and private nursing homes.

The Department
The Corporate Services Team supports the organisation's operations, structures, processes, and systems, including HR, Governance, Procurement, and Facilities.

The Role
The Stakeholder Manager supports the Director of Corporate Services in managing the NTPF Board and Committees, implementing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, managing website content, and developing corporate documents such as the Strategic Plan, Annual Report, and Protocols.

This role involves engagement with the Board and Communications, working closely with the Chief Executive.

Key Responsibilities:


Board Relations

* Manage communications related to the Board and its Committees.
* Support the Board, including arranging meetings, circulating documentation, taking minutes, and coordinating actions.
* Assist in developing corporate strategies.
* Support the Chair and Board at Oireachtas, Ministerial, and Department meetings.


Communications

* Implement the NTPF Communication Strategy via website, social media, and press releases.
* Develop and publish corporate documents and website content.
* Manage social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
* Oversee internal communications such as newsletters and events.
* Cover for the Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
