Setting-Out Engineer
Setting-out Engineer required for a leading Main Building Contractor to work on a large building project in South County Dublin. Our client has an excellent reputation and a robust pipeline of work throughout the country and Dublin particularly for the next 2 years. Excellent opportunity all around, good career prospects, training, professional environment and large scale project exposure outside of Dublin.
Requirements

2 years+ experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK
Construction/Civil Engineering degree qualified
Strong Setting-out Experience
Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering
Must be willing to travel
Valid safe-pass
Fully conversant with the use of robotic Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out

Duties

Setting-out
Subcontractor management
Site supervision of various trades and contractors
Maintain strong health and safety standards
Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate
Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract
Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff

Salary

€55k - €65k
