Job Purpose:
As a Senior Powertrain/Battery Management Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading the design, testing, and optimization of our drone power systems. You will focus on battery management, energy modeling, and performance efficiency while ensuring safe and reliable powertrain performance across all operational regions.
* Manage UAV battery-related activities across multiple geographies and environments
* Design and maintain battery ground tests and commissioning systems for repeatability and safety
* Conduct energy modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink to optimize energy use and maximize flight time and range
Key Responsibilities:
You will provide technical leadership in areas of cell balancing & management, thermal management, SOH/lifetime optimization, powertrain efficiency, and EMI/EMC compliance. Additionally, you will support the transition to new safer, higher energy-density chemistries through planning and executing comprehensive test campaigns.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Power, or Mechatronic Engineering (or a related field)
* Minimum 7+ years' experience in battery systems, power electronics, or related energy storage applications
