Role overview
We are seeking a Billing/Settlement Manager to join our client's Commercial Operations team in Dublin. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant settlement activities across Ireland and multiple European markets. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Commercial, Sales, and Contract Management teams, along with international stakeholders, in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This position is ideal for someone with hands on experience in settlement, billing, contract administration, or commercial operations—someone who enjoys working with detail, improving processes, and communicating effectively across teams and culture.
Key responsibilities
Oversee day to day settlement, billing, and reconciliation activities across Ireland and other European markets
Ensure all settlement calculations are aligned with contractual terms, pricing structures, and commercial agreements
Conduct regular reconciliations, investigate variances, and drive timely issue resolution
Support month end and period end processes related to settlement, revenue recognition, and reporting
Partner closely with Commercial, Sales, Finance, and Contract teams to ensure accurate and compliant settlement execution
Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding settlement related queries
Identify opportunities to streamline, standardise, and automate settlement and billing workflows
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Commercial Operations function
Key skills & experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
Relevant experience in settlement, billing, contract administration, commercial operations, or a similar role
Solid understanding of commercial contracts, settlement frameworks, and basic financial principles
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience operating in cross functional and multicultural teams
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Fluent Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
