Overview:
As a Data Manager, you will be vital in building ouranimal data models, working closely with Marketing, IT, and R&D leads andteams to explore the data our products upload to our data platform. You willinnovate new data features and work with data scientists to create innovativefarm and animal KPIs promoting animal health and wellbeing. You will beresponsible for data quality and integrity, ensuring our data is up-to-date andof high value.The Data Manager will report to the Animal Data &governance lead within our Animal Health Data Labs organization.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data models revolving aroundanimals.
- Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions,and classification schemes.
- Collaborate with marketing, veterinary professionals,researchers, data engineers, and data management teams to identify data-relatedrequirements and ensure alignment with animal health objectives.
- Monitor data quality and proactively identify and resolveissues or anomalies in animal health records and datasets.
- Conduct data profiling, analysis, and validation toensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of animal health data.
- Establish data documentation and metadata managementprocesses for animal health records, diagnostic, and research data.
- Provide guidance and support to veterinary professionalsand researchers on data governance best practices and standards in animalhealth.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of proven hands-on experience working as a DataSteward, Data Manager, Data Custodian, or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Information SystemsManagement or a related field.
- Proficiency in data quality, cataloging, modeling,analysis, and metadata management.
- Experience with data management tools and technologies,such as Collibra, Immuta, and Data Bricks
- Experience harvesting data from ERP and CRM systems suchas SAP and Salesforce, with a proven track record of building complex customerdata models in international corporations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with anability to interpret and analyze veterinary records and diagnostic data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills tocollaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritizetasks in dynamic environments
Advantage:
- Experience in Data Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal healthdata management principles.
- Experience working for multi-national companies.
