Job description
Expert-Property are looking for an experienced and reliable qualified Carpenter.
Candidates must be competent and highly motivated with the ability to work on a wide variety of property construction tasks and able to deal with a number of different trades.
Candidates must be well-organised with strong general repair skills and basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and painting works. We will provide successful candidates with a fuel and toll card. Must have their own van.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following;
* Must be proficient in first and second fix carpentry
* Perform construction repairs
* Identify and report the need for major repairs
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a carpenter
* Be willing to be very flexible to work with colleagues within the Maintenance and Construction Dept
* Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
* Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems
* Good communication and English is essential.
* Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
* Attention to detail
* Be able to use smartphone, emails etc.
* Full driving licence, B category.
* Safe pass - mandatory
* Manual Handling Training - mandatory

Job Duties:
* Reading and interpreting blueprints
* Understanding customer requirements
* Managing peers, dividing job tasks and/or working as a team when necessary
* Managing or working with subcontractors
* Training apprentices and/or co workers
* Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
* Working knowledge of materials used in carpentry
* Working knowledge of relevant tools & equipment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 40 per week
