About the Role
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payment runs, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate payments
* Prepare and process month-end payment runs and bank reconciliations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and general ledger adjustments to provide accurate financial insights
* Maintain vendor accounts and assist with value-added tax submissions to ensure smooth business operations
* Handle staff expenses, cash flow monitoring, and bank lodgements to maintain efficient financial management
* Manage company fleet administration including tax and insurance to ensure compliance and minimize risks
* Assist with financial reporting, statement preparation, and other ad hoc projects to support business growth and development
About You
We are looking for an accounting technician qualified or part-qualified individual with previous experience in a finance or accounts role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential, and experience with SAP, Sage, and Timeware is an advantage.
