Job SummaryJohnson & Johnson is recruiting a Senior Regional Transportation Analyst to provide guidance, coordination, and operational oversight of the Regional Inbound Transportation MedTech Segment, ensuring reliable and cost‑efficient supply of local affiliates DCs from manufacturing sites and regional hubs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive value to MedTech EMEA through optimized regional transportation flows for inbound freight, including manufacturing‑to‑hub, hub‑to‑affiliates and distributor DCs, as well as raw material and packaging flows.Manage relationships with 3PL/4PL (Control Tower) via metrics, strategic directions, and continuous improvement.Lead performance measurement of transport reliability through critical metrics aligned with MedTech PLAN and EDC operations teams; provide input for MedTech Executive performance reviews.Deliver on CIP targets through operational improvements while ensuring service, quality, reliability, and compliance; lead regular reviews with MedTech Segment leads, Finance and other partners.Represent IBF Transportation in E2E MedTech Supply Chain forums and projects; drive process alignments and trade‑offs; provide input on inbound freight into S&OP processes.Partner with MedTech SC to translate inventory strategy and business requirements into innovative transportation solutions, support manufacturing network changes and new product launches.Proactively surface and resolve key issues, demonstrating continuous improvement across transportation lanes, resource management, and leveraged value.
Key InteractionsAlign with Regional Segment Deliver Lead on priorities.Collaborate with Make to optimize product flows.Engage with Demand & Supply Planning for transport capacity planning, reliability and SLA adherence.Assess operational maturity and define improvement priorities with OS&S.Partner with Compliance to focus on quality and compliance.Collaborate with Distribution operations to optimize E2E product flows.Coordinate with Finance / QA CQSS / Security.
Key Objectives / MetricsTransportation cost & CIP targets.Transportation reliability: Make/Hub to DC.Control Tower performance critical metrics.
QualificationsEducationBachelor or University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
Required Experience & SkillsMinimum 5 years in end‑to‑end supply chain related fields; strong understanding of order‑to‑cash processes.Excellent analytical skills and affinity for numbers; ability to support budgeting, financial reconciliation, and identify improvement opportunities.Subject‑matter expertise in core transportation, planning, carrier/3PL‑4PL management, import/export processes, and systems.
Preferred & Additional SkillsFluent in English; other European languages a plus.E2E mentality, collaborative, customer‑focused approach, ability to influence others without direct authority.Innovative problem‑solving, compliance orientation, GDP knowledge, quality approach, trade‑off alignment.Continuous improvement mindset; Lean certification a plus.Strong communication, presentation, project management, and change management skills.Understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, responsible and ethical AI practices, and experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.
