About the Role
Designation: Marketing and Communications Director

Reporting: SVP, Head of Business Performance and Operations
Afiniti is seeking a Marketing and Communications Director who can leverage their deep expertise in B2B technology marketing to help drive the growth and market success of our cutting-edge AI products.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to build a marketing function using a hands-on, proactive approach. They should also have extensive product marketing experience in the contact center space along with a proven track record of executing strategic marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility, drive product adoption, and support a complex sales cycle. You will be expected to deliver measurable outcomes through effective leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making, while ensuring the alignment of marketing activities with our overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Over the next six months, the candidate is expected to cover:
* Organizational Planning. Partner with Head of Business Performance and Operations to develop and implement a comprehensive bottoms-up marketing and communications strategy for the business aligned with organizational goals.
* Brand & Creative Excellence. Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and a 90% approval rate from senior leadership.
* Website & Digital Presence Revamp. Lead a website redesign to improve SEO, increasing traffic by 30% and lead conversion rates by 33%, while ensuring 90% satisfaction from internal stakeholders.
* Campaign Optimization & ROI Improvement. Optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and paid channels, increasing qualified leads by 25% and improving lead-to-sale conversion efficiency by 20%.
* Marketing Tools & Analytics Optimization. Utilize tools like Salesforce, SEMrush, and Google Analytics to support pipeline generation, driving a 10% increase in lead nurturing and customer engagement efficiency.
* Brand Advocacy & External Communication. Represent and advocate for the brand at industry events, aiming for a 10% increase in media mentions and external content pieces, contributing to stronger brand authority.
Over the next 12 months, the candidate is expected to cover:
* Leadership & Team Management. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve a 90%+ team satisfaction rate and deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
* Strategic Marketing Execution. Execute integrated marketing strategies that drive 10%+ net revenue growth and improve pipeline generation by 40%.
* Go-to-Market Strategy Support. Collaborate with senior leadership and product teams to support GTM strategies and achieve a 20% adoption rate within six months of product launch.
* Product Launch Success. Assist in at least one major product launch, contributing to a 75% demo conversion rate and a 10% increase in customer engagement.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration & Content Development. Collaborate to align messaging across teams, leading to a 15% improvement in lead conversion and the creation of 10+ targeted content pieces annually.
* Data-Driven Marketing Decisions. Use analytics to optimize marketing performance, improving CTR, conversion rates, and ROI by 10% within six months.
* Market Insights & Competitive Analysis. Deliver quarterly market reports, providing insights that drive a 10%+ increase in product differentiation and competitive advantage.
Experience and Skill Set
* 8–10 years of experience in B2B technology software marketing, product marketing, or communications, with a strong background in contact center, AI & SaaS industries.
* Deep understanding of AI, SaaS, and enterprise technology products with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
* Experience building a marketing function with best-in-class features and a desire to get their hands dirty.
* Proven track record of leading cross-functional (marketing, creative, communications) teams and executing successful marketing strategies.
* Expertise in utilizing marketing tools (Salesforce, Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and driving data-driven optimization.
* Strong creative direction, communication skills, and project management capabilities.
