**Job Title:** Senior Conveyancing Lawyer
As a Senior Conveyancing Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with property transactions and providing general legal support within our organization. You will be responsible for transferring property ownership and rights in connection with property purchases and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing transactional documentation (contracts, transfers, rights of way, wayleaves, licences, deeds of rectification) and undertaking title due diligence
* Dealing with property transactions from commencement through to lodging applications for registration in the PRA
* Drafting first registration applications and dealing with complex title issues
* Advising on a full range of other property title and conveyancing issues including boundary disputes, rights of way, turbary and other burdens on our estate
* Liaising with the Title Researcher to ensure the records of our estate remain up to date
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualification experience
* Experience in Property Law and Conveyancing essential, particularly in dealing with rural and agricultural property
* Strong technical conveyancing and drafting skills
* Practical, hands-on attitude in dealing with high volume of legal transactions
* Good aptitude in reading maps
Preferred Skills:
* Excellent organisational, communication skills
* ICT skills and the ability to use a legal case management system
