Job Description:
As a Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation of our technology infrastructure towards a digital utility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative software solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design software solutions that comply with architectural principles, policies, and standards.
* Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security architects to develop software solutions that meet non-functional requirements.
* Participate in Design Authority Groups for programmes/projects.
* Oversee the design process and ensure the overall integrity of applications through delivery and operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
* Minimum 6 years' experience in IT, with knowledge of software architectural roles and responsibilities.
* Knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies, particularly PaaS services.
* Experience in security engineering, securing websites/products, and implementing secure code.
* The ability to follow architecture principles in designing software solutions.
* Experience working with Agile/SCRUM teams.
* Good stakeholder management skills and effective communication skills.
* Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
Desirable:
* Awareness of legal, regulatory, and data protection principles.
* Business Process Analysis experience.
* High-level knowledge of applications architecture, data architecture integration, infrastructure, cloud, and security architecture.
