The Opportunity
The Group Financial Accountant will support the monthly preparation of the Group's consolidated financial results and help prepare analysis that helps senior management understand the financial performance of the Group. You will also support the implementation and maintenance of Group Finance SOx controls. You will have the opportunity to assist with a range of ad hoc finance projects and provide support to the wider Group Finance team, focusing on process improvement and gaining broad exposure to financial reporting in a large group environment.
You will report to the Group Consolidation Manager, based in our Dublin office. The role operates on a hybrid basis.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support the monthly consolidation process of the Inizio Group accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
* Assist in the implementation and monitoring of financial controls across the Group.
* Help prepare materials and documentation for internal and external audit queries.
* Contribute to the preparation of the Group's statutory financial statements (consolidated and standalone).
* Partner with team members to improve financial and statutory reporting processes.
* Build relationships with teams across the business to ensure accurate data sharing.
* Provide general support to the Group Finance team, including ad hoc financial analysis.
What you bring to the role:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 1 year PQE, preferably from a Big 4 accounting practice background.
* Experience in consolidation, including preparing or auditing management/statutory accounts for a large organization.
* Ability to build partnerships across teams.
* Examples of process improvement initiatives.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Excellent IT and financial systems experience, with Oracle Fusion, Oracle FCCS/EPM, and Workiva being advantageous.
