Lead HVAC Test Engineer- Cork The Company: Our client has been in business for over 30 years and in that time has become a market leader in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation systems.
They manufacture a variety of systems from air handling units, rooftop ventilation, air-cooling, and close control systems to name just a few.
They have a dynamic and an ever-expanding, ambitious workforce of over 150 and a turnover in the billions!
As a result of their ongoing success, they seek to add a Lead HVAC Test Engineer to their team in Cork, offering a strong package, a secure work environment, and career development opportunities!
The Role: The successful candidate will be site-based in Cork and will have the following duties, including but not limited to: Being responsible for the design, set-up and execution of performance and functional testing on critical cooling equipment Managing two lab technicians (testers) who day to day will be setting and executing testing on equipment The day to day managing of the lab, equipment and maintenance including chillers, boilers, generators, electrical and control systems Managing test lab schedule based on project deadlines, customer test requirements and resource availability Generating detailed and accurate reports on testing and provide constructive feedback to the other engineering departments The Person: We are looking to speak to candidates from the following backgrounds: Ideally coming from a Mechanical testing background such as a Testing Manager, mechanical commissioning engineers or an experienced Tester looking to take the next step, All Senior HVAC Engineers that have tested equipment on sites will also be strongly considered The Package: Salary of €65,000 - €80,000 DOE Pension 25 Days Holiday!
