If you are looking to deepen and develop your skills, knowledge, and experience throughout your career, then that is what you will get, and more.**Overview** We are seeking a Senior Data Operations Consultant to support a major funds platform implementation for a multinational client.This is a strategic advisory role focused on golden source data management, pricing strategy, and hierarchy governance across multiple asset classes.The role requires a blend of data operations expertise, middle office understanding, and business analysis skills, with the ability to think critically and flexibly to shape best-practice solutions.This is a high-impact strategic role at the centre of a multinational transformation programme, ensuring robust data strategy, automation, and governance underpin reliable reporting, analytics, and future operating model success.**Key Responsibilities*** Advise on data strategy for multiple asset classes, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and private assets* Provide subject matter expertise on data operating models, automation, and security master design* Shape integration approaches for pricing sources and asset reference data flows* Guide hierarchy governance for portfolio and reporting structures* Support programme-level decision-making by challenging assumptions and bringing best-practice insight* Act as a trusted advisor to ensure data flows are well managed and automation opportunities are maximised**Key Skills & Experience*** Strong background in Data Operations and asset reference data, ideally with middle office exposure* Knowledge of multi-asset data flows and operating models (equities, fixed income, derivatives, private assets)* Expertise in security master management, pricing sources, and hierarchy governance* Familiarity with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, and other market data providers.* Familiarity with middle office systems such as Broadridge, SS&C Technologies, Omgeo and/or other providers* Business analysis skills with ability to map and challenge data flows across complex processes* Critical thinker with flexibility to adapt to evolving programme priorities* Strong communication and advisory skills, comfortable leading strategy sessions and influencing stakeholders**Equity, diversity and inclusion**At Grant Thornton, we provide equitable opportunities for all our colleagues.
