The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop this role in order to fit the ambitious growth plans of the company.This role will report to our Logistics Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesThe RoleBased in our Dublin offices & Warehouses, the Logistics Operative must have a proven track record in stores and logistics. The ideal candidate will be driven; results focused with a 'can do' attitude.Responsibilities include:Work with Operation Teams and prioritise field requirements to ensure they are aligned with project needs.Operate and maintain computerised databases and systems to ensure that administration requirements for the import and export of material and reports are accurate.Ensure materials & assets required are picked and available for field staff each dayDeliver materials and assets to the field and ensure field production is optimised by developing this process to be as efficient as possible.Request, compare and evaluate quotes from suppliers.Complete stock takes per routineTrack assetsSource and order suitable materials & assets where requiredBuild and maintain good supplier relationships to achieve the best prices and supply arrangements.Prepare reports as requested.Able to handle routine client, internal & supplier calls and emails and appropriately escalate complex issues to the next level of management.Manage waste collections.Support the fleet manager and coordinate the company's commercial fleet.Continuous improvement within the role; simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies.Any other ad-hoc duties related.Skills RequiredKey skills and experience:EssentialAbility to work to project deadlinesAbility to work with Operations team to understand future pipelines and ensure no risks to projects due to material procurement delays.Well organised, self motivated person with the ability to operate on their own initiative2-3 years of relevant work experience. (Previous experience in a team or project role is preferred)Experience that demonstrates organizational and leadership skills associated with project managementMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from all levels of the organisation and a variety of external suppliersPC literateMust be meticulous- paying excellent attention to detailFull drivers licenceForklift ticketsAdvantageousPrevious telecommunications industry experience would be an advantageTrailer & or truck license
