Job description:
On behalf of our client based just outside Limerick city, we are recruiting for Social Care Workers for a brand new residential service. These roles are on a permanent basis with both full-time and relief contracts available.
Core Responsibilities:
* Deliver quality service adhering to professional, national, and local standards.
* Work within current legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Promote recovery principles and values in service delivery.
* Treat service users with dignity, respect, and promote their rights.
* Plan, implement, and evaluate care plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Support service users’ needs, including nutrition, education, social, independent living and document management.
* Collaborate with other agencies, and attend relevant meetings.
* Participate in crisis management and ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
* Engage in professional development, training, and reflective practice.
* Comply with health and safety regulations, and report risks or incidents.
* Promote a culture of diversity, respect, and sustainable practices.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality.
* Assist in the administration and day-to-day operations of the service.
* Participate in team meetings and report to management on service delivery.
* Cooperate with external monitoring, statutory inspections, and implement recommendations.

Job Type: Full-time, relief
Pay: From €34,000.00 – 41000 per year + related unsocial premiums
