Senior Project Manager - SaaS migration to Azure
Contract Dublin 29-05-2023 We are currently seeking an experienced technical Project Manager for a contract position. As part of the PMO team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of a significant project aligned with our Business & Technology strategy. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can effectively plan, lead, and execute a SaaS migration project while adhering to our established Project Governance framework. This is a contract position, requiring 2 of onsite work and remote work for the remaining duration.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 7 years of proven project management experience.
* Experience with Cloud SaaS Migration projects, preferably with Azure.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large and complex IT delivery/migration projects.
* Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
* Deep understanding of project management functions and artifacts.
* Track record of effectively managing third-party vendor projects.
* Ability to quickly adapt and adhere to our existing project management and governance standards.
* Experience in the Asset Management or other Financial Services industry would be desirable.
* Project Management certification such as Prince or PMP would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the assessment, planning, and implementation of projects.
* Ensure projects are delivered within the specified timeline, budget, and quality requirements.
* Manage stakeholders, including third-party vendors.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
* Proactively identify project prerequisites, dependencies, constraints, issues, risks, and critical paths, and manage them effectively.
* Define project tasks and resource requirements.
* Coordinate, manage, and control project resources and tasks.
* Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging with individuals at all levels, from executive to team members.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.
* Manage project budget, ensuring effective control and reporting.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and governance bodies.
* Offer direction and support to the project team.
* Ensure quality assurance measures are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct project closure activities and conduct reviews to assess benefits realization.
* Maintain compliance with project management and governance standards by ensuring all project documentation adheres to the established framework.
