Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Execution:
o Develop comprehensive project briefs in consultation with stakeholders.
o Ensure all stakeholders understand the project scope, objectives, and timelines.
o Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion.
* Technical Expertise:
o Define technical requirements for design services, buildings, and equipment.
o Advise on selecting design teams, contractors, and other professional services.
o Prepare specifications, drawings, and contract documents for capital projects.
* Collaboration and Communication:
o Coordinate with design teams, site supervisors, hospital personnel, and equipping/commissioning teams.
o Supervise staff and contractors to implement agreed programmes.
o Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement planned maintenance routines based on manufacturer's instructions and equipment importance.
* Incorporate maintenance requirements in supply contracts for new equipment and vehicles.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all buildings, services, equipment, and vehicles.
* Establish guidelines for safe operation of all equipment.
