We are working with a global law firm to recruit an experienced lawyer to join their market-leading Competition & Regulatory team in Dublin. This role offers exposure to high-calibre, international work across the full range of competition and regulation matters.
Responsibilities
* Advising on merger control, antitrust investigations, market studies and appeals.
* Representing claimants and defendants in competition litigation.
* Providing counsel on Irish/EU regulatory issues, particularly within the telecoms, life sciences and food industries.
* Collaborating closely with global teams to deliver commercial, client-focused solutions.
* Proactively identifying business development opportunities to support the firm’s growth.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Qualified in Ireland, England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction. Competition law experience (e.g. merger control, behavioural and investigations work) gained at a leading law firm.
* Multi-jurisdictional experience of advising international clients.
* Excellent drafting skills, capable of delivering focused commercial advice.
* A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and develop networks.
* Strong technical expertise in competition and regulatory law.
* Commercial acumen with an ability to stay updated on key legal and business trends.
