Office Based Role
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
Candidates will need to have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
A good working knowledge of Excel is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Proficiency in accounting principles and practices related to Accounts Payable and Receivable for Irish Companies.
Maintaining Debtor ledger and chasing payments.
Maintaining Creditor ledger and reconciling to supplier statements.
Dealing with internal and external queries in a timely manner.
Ensuring appropriate approval of all supplier invoices.
Prepare and process payment runs.
Working with journals and prepayments.
Monthly bank reconciliations and reporting packs.
Preparing Vat returns.
Maintaining accurate accounting records.
Support finance Team as required.

Advanced competency in use of Accounting Packages.
Strong organisational skills.
The ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Willing to learn and adapt as part of a finance team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A full driving licence and access to a car
