A leading residential developer is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team immediately on a major 300+ unit housing development in Nenagh, Tipperary.
This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with experience in residential construction to take ownership of a large-scale project and gain exposure to all commercial aspects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all commercial and cost control aspects of the residential project Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and overall financial performance Assist in procurement of subcontractors and preparation of subcontract agreements Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and support valuations Liaise closely with site teams, project managers, subcontractors, and clients Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities Ensure all commercial activities comply with company procedures and industry standards Requirements: Minimum 35 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in residential construction Experience working on large-scale housing developments is highly desirable Strong understanding of cost management, contract administration, and procurement processes Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively within a project team Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Benefits: Competitive salary (€60,000 €70,000 per annum, depending on experience) Company vehicle or travel allowance Pension scheme Exposure to a large-scale residential development Career development and progression opportunities within a leading residential developer If you are an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor looking for immediate start on a high-profile residential development in Nenagh, please send your CV or contact for a confidential discussion.
