Communications Executive We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Communications Executive to join a growing FMCG client in North Dublin.
This role will support both internal and external communications efforts, ensuring a cohesive and effective strategy to engage with employees, stakeholders, and the broader public.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, a strong ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for fostering positive relationships through clear and concise messaging.
Key Responsibilities: Internal Communications: Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with organisational goals.
Write, edit, and distribute internal newsletters, emails, and memos to keep employees informed of company updates, events, and initiatives.
Collaborate with leadership and department heads to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.
Manage internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, employee bulletin boards) and ensure content is regularly updated.
Assist with planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and other internal events.
Collect and analyse employee feedback to continually improve internal communication efforts.
Serve as a point of contact for internal communications inquiries and troubleshooting.
External Communications: Create and manage content for press releases, media pitches, blog posts, and social media to promote company initiatives, achievements, and updates.
Develop and maintain relationships with external media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Monitor and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Draft and distribute company announcements, press releases, and responses to external stakeholders.
Oversee the management of the company's social media presence, ensuring alignment with overall communication goals.
Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, websites, and case studies.
Track and report on external communication effectiveness and media coverage.
Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in internal and external communications (2-5 years).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools (e.g., Intranet management, social media platforms).
Strong understanding of communication strategies, media relations, and social media engagement.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Knowledge of [specific industry] is a plus.
