For our Ntron facility in Navan we are looking for a technician to cover the Munster Area. We are looking for, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer, with the aim of progressing to a supervisory level.The role will be primarily based in Cork, with national travel to support the service team as required. We're looking for someone with drive, a desire to learn, an outgoing personality, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organisational skills are essential for managing responsibilities, meeting objectives, and adhering to deadlines. Occasional international travel will also be required.If this sounds like you, we would be delighted to hear from you.Primary Duties Include:Provide quality calibrations, routine servicing and commissioning of new projects to all customers in a timely manner.Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.A 'Plan today for tomorrow' attitude required for upcoming works, ensuring adequate stock availability.Collaborate with our sales department to promote and quote PST products.Provide service reports to recommend next steps for possible sales opportunities.Demonstrate effective time management and interpersonal skills.Manage field activities and implement engineering designs.Serve as the key liaison to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.Requirements, Skills, and Experience:Technical qualifications or equivalent experience in the electrical and instrument fields.Experience with instrumentation equipment, RAMs, HAZOPs, AutoCAD, and CRM systems is desirable.Familiarity with calibration software, e.g., Compucal.Familiarity with service software, e.g., WorkPalFull, clean driving license.Ability to work independently, learn, adapt, and problem-solve as challenges arise.Methodical approach to product support, including diagnostics, and development and execution of test programs with a basic understanding of test techniques.Empathy and adaptability to different interpersonal styles.Management experience is desirable as we would hope to see this candidate move into a supervisory role post probationJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
