Senior Site Engineer Residential (North Tipperary) A Senior Site Engineer is required for a leading residential developer working on a major 300+ unit housing development in North Tipperary.Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead on a large-scale, long-term residential project from the very beginning, with responsibility for technical oversight and site management.The successful candidate will take a senior role within the site management team, supporting project delivery, quality control, and mentoring junior engineers, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.Duties: Lead setting out, surveying, and levelling works using GPS, total stations, and related equipment.Oversee construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior site engineers and site staff.Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors, and design teams for smooth project delivery.Maintain and review daily site records, quality checks, and progress reports.Assist in planning, scheduling, and sequencing of site activities.Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times.Resolve complex technical issues and contribute to problem-solving on site.Support materials management, logistics, and subcontractor coordination.Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.5+ years experience as a Site Engineer, ideally with experience on large-scale residential developments.Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and site coordination.Experience leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.Proficient in setting out equipment, Auto CAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant site software.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively within a site management team and manage multiple priorities.Proactive and solution-oriented approach to site delivery.Salary & Benefits: Salary circa €7585k, depending on experience.Excellent benefits package.Long-term progression with further planned projects in the region.If you are a Senior Site Engineer with extensive residential construction experience and are interested in a long-term leadership role in Nenagh, please send your CV or contact Amy Maguire for a confidential discussion.Email: GPC will not send any applicants CV to clients without full discussion and prior consent.
