Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused customer assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, operate the till, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean and organised store environment. The goal is to provide a positive shopping experience and support daily retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Operate till, handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and issue receipts
* Stock shelves and replenish merchandise as needed
* Keep the sales floor clean, organised.
* Follow all store policies, including loss prevention procedures
* Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage
* Handle customer complaints or refer them to a supervisor when necessary
* Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
* Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and busy periods
* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Working Conditions:
