Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation, funded by the HSE under Section 38. We support people with intellectual disabilities through residential care, day services, independent living, job advocacy, and vocational training.
Purpose of the Post
Reporting to the
Clinical Director of HSCP and Research,
the
Children's Disability Network Manager
will, on a
Permanent Wholetime
contract, work as a member of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with MDT colleagues providing services to children from 0-18 years and families who are accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.
Key Responsibilities
* To promote a child and family centred practice within the Lead Agency
* To provide strategic leadership and direction for the team which results in the delivery of effective, efficient, quality assured and person-centred services in collaboration with the Lead Agency and in line with National Policy.
* To be accountable for the management and reporting of all financial allocations (pay and non-pay) associated with the delivery of Children's Disability Services in the assigned network.
The Person
* Have a relevant professional qualification in a Health and Social Care Profession or Nursing and where appropriate, have statutory registration or professional registration/accreditation.
* Have a minimum of five years post qualification experience including three years working in or managing the delivery of children's disability therapeutic services.
* Have a requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Full driver's license and access to their own vehicle.

Salary
In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is Children's Disability Network Manager; €89,184 - €98,158 per annum.
