A Chef De Partie is required to join the successful culinary brigade at Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort.
Candidate
* Chef qualification/2-3 years Chef De Partie experience essential
* Must have a passion for cooking and be very creative
* Ability to produce dishes to a consistently high standard
* HACCP trained and hold an up to date certificate
* Knowledge of ordering, stock control and waste management.
* Flexible to meet business needs
* Fluent English is required (Written and Oral)
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure that all service within the kitchen is performed to the highest standard
* Ensure that all stock is kept under optimum conditions
* Help develop and introduce new menus and recipes
* Ensure that all mis-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
* Attend training and development as required
* Assist the Executive Head Chef & Head Chef to ensure Health & Safety is maintained on a daily basis
* Waste management
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills. This role will involve midweek and weekend shifts, a mix of day time and night time hours is required. Flexibility in working hours is therefore essential.
