Regulatory Reporting Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Expert to join our Dublin finance team on a permanent basis. This is a regulated position responsible for supporting both internal and external regulatory reporting, with a primary focus on the Irish subsidiary of a major international bank.
The successful candidate will serve as the initial reviewer of all regulatory submissions and contribute to the preparation of key prudential reports. The role involves maintaining a strong control environment, driving continuous improvement, and engaging with both internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
Main Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Reporting:
o Review and, as required, prepare internal and external regulatory returns
o Deliver high-quality prudential returns (Capital, Liquidity, Large Exposures, Asset Encumbrance, Leverage Ratio)
o Stay informed on changes in regulatory requirements and their impact on reporting processes
* Oversight & Team Support:
o Provide coverage for the VP in their absence
o Mentor and support junior finance team members
* Process Improvement & Controls:
o Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
o Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all reporting activities
* Stakeholder Management:
o Liaise effectively with internal teams and external regulators
o Provide clear communication and reporting to senior management
* Risk & Conduct Responsibilities:
o Monitor, identify, and escalate operational and conduct risks
Qualifications & Experience:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with circa 5+ years post-qualification experience
* Previous experience within financial services is essential
* In-depth understanding of FINREP and Irish statistical reporting is desirable
