This is a dynamic and challenging role that involves working on complex competition law matters. You will be part of a highly experienced team that advises clients on competition law, regulatory matters, and EU law.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing legal advice on anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, and unfair competition matters.
2. SUPPORTING CLIENTS WITH STATE AID COMPLIANCE AND RELATED LITIGATION ASSISTANCE FOR MERGER NOTIFICATIONS TO THE IRISH COMPETITION AND CONSUMER PROTECTION COMMISSION (CCPC) AND THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION SUPPORTING LITIGATION AND REGULATORY WORK BEFORE IRISH AND EU COURTS ASSISTING IN DEFENDING CLIENTS IN COMPETITION LAW INVESTIGATIONS AND PROSECUTIONS THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE OFFERING EXPOSURE TO SOME OF THE MOST HIGH-PROFILE AND COMPLEX COMPETITION LAW MATTERS IN IRELAND YOU WILL WORK ALONGSIDE A DYNAMIC AND EXPERIENCED TEAM RECOGNISED FOR SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDING COMPETITION LAW ENFORCEMENT CASES ABOUT YOU QUALIFIED TO PRACTICE LAW IN IRELAND WITH 24 YEARS PQE STRONG ACADEMIC RECORD WITH GENUINE INTEREST In Competition Law, EU Law And Regulatory Matters EXCELLENT LEGAL RESEARCH DRAFTING ANALYTICAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS COMMERCIALLY Minded Proactive And Able To Manage Client Relationships Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Manage Competing Priorities Fluency In English; Additional Languages An Advantage
